EOTI really needs to get our MySpace-replacement put together as soon as possible. I wish we had enough money coming in to hire a small development team.
On the way to work today, I was listening to Thom Hartman. He was talking about how Rupert Murdoch / Newscorp / FoxNews / etc changed the terms and agreements on MySpace when they took over. Specifically, anything you post is their property, not yours.
He went into detail how, for example, if you post a risque image then go into a professional career, the small print says they can sell that risque image (even if you already deleted it) to the Press.
We need to get our own replacement social system online which never tries to take your ownership away.
