Many of us know that current internet protocols suck, for one reason or another. It isn't that their design was initially bad, just that we have outgrown them.
Well, I guess with Micro$haft claiming patent ownership (and knowing how Homeland Security has been helping out these poor defensless billionaires), perhaps we should write new standards. Something better.
Of course, if we use something like GPL or Toys-4-Techs licensing, we can immediately pull their licenses if they sue anyone over any of our designs.
