The Open Voting Consortium - CA Sec. of State Forming Panel to Investigate Open Source Software for Elections
Interesting. Based on my previous research into some of these groups, I bet they aren't going to do it right. Wonder what it would take to get onto the panel.

Although I am no longer a California resident, I thought I would pass some information along. I have been looking into this as well. One of the problems with the Open Voting Consortium is that they want to do things much like Diebold does. Extra hardware is not the correct solution.
