Well, I bought me a Harley today. I'll probably be taking it home mid next week (after I get my endorsement and they get the addons installed).

Oh and in case any of you are wondering... I rode a bike for my first time today.... take my test tomorrow. Wish me luck.
Well, I don't think I passed the riding portion of the test.... though considering I didn't even know where the rear brake was yesterday morning; and today I was doing multi-vehicle intersections... I'm happy with the progress I have made in 2 half-days. If I don't pass, I'll go get my permit this week.

ReplyDeleteYou can be so forceful today that you provoke a strong-willed individual to resist your ambition. You might not even realize that your advances are infringing on someone else's territory until you run into a stone wall. Don't attempt to storm the blockages by overpowering them. Instead, think about what lesson you must learn and then watch the obstacles dissipate.
Whelp, 96% on the written but didn't pass the riding skills test. Looking at getting into another class as well as getting my permit.
ReplyDeleteI didn't pass my skills test the first time either, but the second time a passed flying! It's a great feeling getting that out of the way!! Did that one on an 02 sporty
ReplyDeleteI actually managed to get into another class just a couple weeks later. Did much better that time. A mere month later I was helping marshal the Shriner's Toy Run for ABATE. A month later doing the Polar Bear Run.
