Orkut

Well, it appears that Google Orkut is now open...
Too bad they are using M$ ASP, cuz we get crap like this:
Bad, bad server. No donut for you.

Unfortunately, the orkut.com server has acted out in an unexpected way. Hopefully, it will return to its helpful self if you try again in a few minutes.

It's likely that the server will behave this way on occasion during the coming months. We apologize for the inconvenience and for our server's lack of consideration for others.

Things I notice from the registration... You have to be 18 (problem for some on my friends list)...  Must have a Google account. No business use whatsoever.  Linking to 3rd party stuff without their permission is prohibited (how does that work with news, for example?).  Allowed but not required to remove obscene material.  Similar to MySpace's terms of service: By submitting, posting or displaying any Materials on or through the orkut.com service, you automatically grant to us a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicenseable, transferable, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to copy, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly perform and display such Materials. That said, our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and we will never rent, sell or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes without your express permission.

Well, let's see how well it works

Does orkut.com own all the content that I submit to the site?
